When early Leshnot Workings were discovered which could impart force on targeted objects one of the quickest devices theorized about was a mill that could be powered by Clips when no wind or safe water was present. Old designs are still known and were highly inefficient leading to a prohibitive cost for the average farmer. After many strides were made in the understanding of the Fields during the early Age of Nations newer, simpler Meyda-circles were invented which used gear technology inspired by the Rugadhians which could run for days off a single Chip. Suddenly the need to place a mill “intelligently” was far less required, as the cost to run a mill year round off Chips alone was now negligible to most capable of paying for the construction of a mill in the first place.

Many mills still exist placed at the tops of hills or strategically in valleys from a time when such considerations were important. Their blades wilt and sag, often in disrepair or perhaps gone altogether now that their work is Meyda fueled.
