A highly intelligent people who each look nearly identical to one another making Front Names initially seem difficult or even impossible. Biology and Appearance
Though their Front Name is accurate it is not descriptive and one might find their appearance surprising upon first meeting. Folk-of-brilliant-mind travel in small rolling spheres where the bulk of their mass is stored, out of the stabilized top pokes their head which holds no eyes, mouth, nose or ears instead it ends in what can only be described as a strange flower of their dark flesh of which the petals are long bobbing tendrils that sense the world around them. These tendrils are also how Folk-of-brilliant-mind acquire genetic diversity. They are asexual reproducers by default yet despise the idea of an identical genetic copy, instead finding genetic doners in their lives who will give them one of their tendrils called a Piece-of-the-knowing which they consume and cross with their own genetic material to create offspring who might thrive in their differences. In the center of the tendrils lies a large pad of soft feelers which can pull nutrition bearing objects deeper into the soft body of the Folk-of-brilliant-mind to be digested.
