These small orb shaped creatures are often found floating with the breeze in Attovian forests. Generally tinted green they are semi-transparent and have few defining features except several whisker like growths that seem to ensure their top and bottom remain oriented properly. It appears to absorb ambient molecules for the purpose of digestion in the small, ever present pool of fluid in its base.

When several congregate it’s not uncommon for two or more to stick together. In doing so their membranes open to one another and an exchange of digestive juices takes place. Upon separation later a small piece of spherical membrane is left behind with some of the combined fluid and will grow with time into an adult.

Many creatures, both wild and sentient, find the flavor of Kasaaki desirable and they have a number of natural predators. Being capable of surviving on what is effectively just air does mean their population can bloom in areas before it is culled by hungry opportunists.
