The clothing in the Zyclester Empire from commonfolk to the high class is all heavily inspired by the origins of their militaristic culture. Most adults wear trousers of black or brown, men tend to where higher cut pant legs and women lower cut. Vests over a top shirt is also typical wear for men and women with small differences in the cut and shape. Where the most change is seen across the gender divide is in foot and headwear. Men tend to wear sturdy boots and women more low profile shoes, slippers or even sandals. The only common caveat to this is when attending more formal settings in which men tend to match more closely to typical shoe wear of the opposite sex. Men also tend to wear nothing on their heads except the occasional thin brimmed cap that just shades their eyes. Their counterparts are seen more often with larger brimmed higher hats that tend to stretch out more over the shoulders than from front to back.
Finer Clothing
When nicer clothing is warranted much of the differences spotted are in the general finery of very similar clothing to typical wear. Often vests are tailored longer for formal occasions and pants which are typically laced up on the sides for variable movement are instead properly sewn tight for a more complete look. The wealthier the individual the more gaudy their attire but its form does not truly change (not like the elite of the Ornsiire Empire) in any significant fashion.
