Yami created the Treloss in response to Hikari’s constructed servants the Drakonos. However, Yami could not get them to behave as complexly as Hikari. She had somehow imbued her creations with true and proper Souls, something Yami was certain neither of them had the capacity to create. While the Treloss build and structure has remained static since their first generations, the mind which controls them is ever expanding. Each Treloss is a living organism in the same functional way a Drakonos is: Nutrients, oxygen, sleep, reproduction and death are all necessary and present elements of their existence. The only key missing component is a brain. Treloss were never built with heads in the first place since the structure seemed largely useless when not needed to hold and protect an organ they didn’t have. Instead a singular organ that functions as both the Ogen and an organic False Soul allows for an instruction set to be processed and operated on. That instruction set has evolved over the many, many years the Treloss and Drakonos have been in conflict. While the False Soul can never truly replicate the complexity of a real Soul, the ever changing nature of Treloss behavior makes them a devious enemy to counter and react to. This accompanied with the lack of self-preservation in most Treloss makes them potent, and frightening fighters.
Specialization
Treloss being built with specific instruction sets and forms are highly specialized in their respective skillsets. From the Kreas Farms to the front lines a wide range of anatomy is present depending on those tasks a given Treloss was made to conduct.
