The Mind-destroying-power-maker utilizes a parallel network of Meyda-leho which pull ambient Meyda from the surrounding environment and coalesce it in a large central chamber. The result is a God Stone nearly 200 feet in diameter and capable of powering several small planets worth of the Folk-of-brilliant-mind people. Everything in their cities runs off of the Mind-destroying-power-maker yet it continues to grow and must be occasionally purged of large portions of Meyda to mitigate the risk of Hyper Meyda Density.
The Folk-of-brilliant-mind have no qualms sharing the fruit of their knowledge and skilled labor but are unable to do so in regards to the Mind-destroying-power-maker thanks to the infrastructure required to utilize it. A rather invasive amount of changes over an extensive amount of time sees The-great-metal-ones and the Nimble-of-the-sky politely decline the offer numerous times. They are not in any real need after all, though they could not fuel the kinds of devices or systems the like of which are seen behind the Folk-of-brilliant-mind borders.
Usage
The largest single use of the Mind-destroying-power-maker is to run and operate the Extensive-historical-record-machine. A computational mind or False Soul that operates on the totality of all knowledge and history known to the Folk-of-brilliant-mind. It is accessible by any citizen of the Fair-and-just-rule-of-minds after a competency and compatibility test have both been passed. The competency test attempts to rule out whether or not the potential user of the system has the intellectual acumen and instinct to not misuse, misconstrue or sow misinformation with the data they request or add to the Extensive-historical-record-machine. The compatibility test is for the users own safety as the Tether formed by connecting to the Extensive-historical-record-machine has substantial draw and can cause Sprouting when it might otherwise not be likely.
Extraction
When a Folk-of-brilliant-mind is nearing death they may choose to have their Soul extracted by the Extensive-historical-record-machine and have its total sum of experience added to the collection of data and history. Though once a distinguished honor this has become the defacto way to see oneself out of the Material World for Folk-of-brilliant-mind and nearly 90% of them will add their Soul’s information to their culture’s vast record before they die.
