The Shelush Calendar is quite simple, there are three hundred days spread across three months split into three named days. The calendar was largely codified somewhere around 2360 The First Era.
This calendar is not synced with the planets orbit, having no axial tilt and no seasons has built a society which cares much less about tracking their star than matching their delineation of time to the concepts and belief structures each culture has built up.
Months
Steel
The-government-of-steel muscled their way into naming the first month of the major calendar “Steel”.
Mind
During the creation of the calendar the Nimble-of-the-sky were preoccupied heavily with the defense of their southern border, thus the Folk-of-brilliant-mind got in a quick bid for naming the second month.
Sky
This month for a long time was simply named The-final-hundred until several years after The-oldest-nimble-one’s-last-wish when the Wings-of-blinding-glint began descending regularly from the Home-of-safety-high and political interactions between all three groups were restored.
