Welcome to Attovia! Its grown a lot since I first published this wiki and now encompasses three major settings (soon to be four), info/homebrews about my Dungeon World modifications and blurbs from world builders who have been interviewed on our podcast World Hammer! This wiki houses nearly 150,000 words of dedicated world building content which is a bit under half the total I’ve written. I regularly update it as it grows! If you are a fellow world builder I encourage you to join us in the Attovia discord server https://discord.gg/9FvdCZmyA5. Many kind creatives make it their home and we are always excited to have more writers and worlds to revel in. You can also get your work read aloud by me if you are interested!

History

Attovia is a homebrew world that was born during my time playing the TTRPG pathfinder. These days I run Dungeon World, a Powered by the Apocalypse system that solves a lot of the bloat and system issues I had with 5e (which I had transitioned to some time ago). But Attovia was never intended to be a system specific setting and is a passion project of mine. This wiki is another way in which I am hoping to push myself to continue its creation and development as well as a useful tool for curious players!

Guide

If you want to get a quick handle on what’s going on with Attovia I recommend checking the Player’s Guide. Though it is outdated at this point its still a great general coverage of that specific setting. However, you will notice that there are a couple other major folders under L’vad. L’vad is the larger universe in which all of my settings coexist though have yet to heavily interact. There is no Multiverse here, but it is an exceedingly diverse universe thanks to the malleable nature of Meyda as it interacts with Souls. Attovia still dwarfs the other settings, but Shelush is growing and a new setting I’ve been very inspired with called Alone, the first entry of which is I Am Alone. I hope you enjoy your stay!

Tag Key

You will see hashtags above documents here which I use to denote some quick info about the document especially for players. I also leave some auto collapsed spoiler sections which anyone can expand at their own risk :)

  • Spoiler
If you see the Spoiler tag at the top of the page it should always be accompanied by one of the following: 🌶, 🌶🌶, 🌶🌶🌶. The spoiler spice meter as it were.
#🌶 = Light spoilers, generally won’t cause any kind of meta-game issues but simply something an in world character wouldn’t know
#🌶🌶 = Medium spoilers, could be used to meta-game but not in any kind of story or game breaking way
#🌶🌶🌶 = HOT Spoilers, this knowledge is volatile for a consistent player to know, may come with specific role tagged in which case those not tagged consider it medium
These are of course only applicable if you think you might play in a game of mine any time soon. If that is not the case then sally forth curious Soul!
  • incomplete
Notes with the incomplete tag aren’t really publish ready, but have information that isn’t incorrect. They will often be quite short or small, but at least help flesh out more of the linking. Hopefully I can reduce the number of files that are tagged as such but we will see.
  • old
Files that at some point will hopefully get an edit, some are several years old, and really could use some better prose, or perhaps are off the lore mark a bit these days.
  • content-warning
Any file with a content warning will start with this text and be followed by the specific content in question. One current example is content-warning-self-harm. I try to keep all my world building at a PG-13 level at MOST but know there are certain triggers for some people and want to be respectful of these potential issues. If you see something else I should tag please let me know.

Warning

If you see a tag with the title of a campaign you are playing in, DO NOT READ!
