Flush, the miracle drug devised by a long forgotten Apothecary as a remedy for doldrums during the Times of Sorrow. Rediscovered many centuries later it took the continent’s wealthy and elite in a choke hold that lasted many generations before its First Purging in 3100 Age of Vala. It soon resurged in the Age of Nations but in much more sinister form: Cracked Flush. Flush Crackers sprung up everywhere, for while Flush was expensive to obtain, Cracked Flush was more than an order of magnitude cheaper yet still sold a hefty number of Clips per Deinach^[3rd of a pound] and could make anyone brave enough as wealthy as an emperor. Additionally Cracked Flush has no Apothecary Workings to mitigate and safeguard against the powerful, and deadly withdrawal it results in. Your customer base becomes not simply addicted, but tied by their very life to your supply. Most end up working for their dealer as a means to both protect the supply and aid in payment. Flush Cracker rings can quickly get out of hand and are notoriously difficult to quell thanks to the overzealous nature of their clientele.

Flush, at its base is made of Geal Essence that has been left to reduce and rot in direct sunlight. The Biaban people have known about it for many, many generations, steering clear of the life ruining substance. It was not until an Apothecary thought to include tears from the Eye of Hormus that Flush as it is known in safer form was created. Geal Essence is not easy to procure. Geal Worms as far as anyone knows live exclusively in the Twilight Desert and are difficult to hunt without preparation and practice cultivated over decades. The Twilight Outpost has taken to trading Clips for small quantities of the stuff as it can be found on passing Nomads and marking it up heavily to smugglers of all kinds. Some tales have been spread of some rings obtaining their own worms and keeping them alive in pits of sand, fed by the Flush addicted who are too far gone. But such a claim has yet to be confirmed.
