Boris in appearance is frightening, he is visibly a Troll in all accounts. However, Boris was granted a Soul by an unknown Wizard and lives out his days on the outskirts of George Town. Boris is a beloved fixture of the tiny Grask Forest village and was given to them as a gift by his creator in 1220 ToR after he passed through and was greatly pleased by their welcoming nature.

After several years Boris was invited to live within the confines of George Town but turned it down citing his comfort in the forest as his reason. He herds and farms Giant Spiders for their Silk. Thanks to his monstrous biology their venom is of no risk to him and he trades the silk he harvests for goods in town and has greatly increased their general wealth in doing so.

Boris additionally acts as a first line of defense when threats such as Goblin tribes or bandits arrive at George Town’s threshold. The nature of his Awakening left Boris capable of a number of simple Workings that can be used to enhance his already frightening combat ability and few things that would stalk the woods near George Town can hold a candle to his prowess.

Secrecy

Thankfully for Boris George Town is far enough into the Grask Forest that visitors are as rare as shooting stars. None of the townsfolk seek to disclose the nature of their villages survival to the outside world for fear he would be taken from them, and so Boris remains untouched and largely unknown to the wider world of Attovia.

Old Connections

A traveling duo stopped in to George Town around 1240 ToR and made it their temporary home. The White Dragon and the Green Princess they came to be called by the folk there, and they helped build the town into a proper place of community, productivity and prosperity. They have since moved on to other pastures but a small statue now stands next to George’s General Goods where stands a Yewdi and his little Goblin companion.
