The Rugadh Sliabh of Daurk Brionnaigh find the use of Clips and their denominations as a currency exceedingly wasteful as their society has often found strong need for their use throughout the centuries. This idea was and still is foreign to their own culture which uses purified alloy’s in a number of weights to trade for valuables. The system is a bit more abstract than other nations are used to, involving four different alloys and three weights. The weights in ascending order are Granta, Ponta and De’chta. The Alloy in roughly ascending order of value are Umha, Argat, Argideen, Cra’ch. This is somewhat a subjective matter however, and Rugadhian haggling often confuses outsiders as the usefulness of each metal as it correlates to the item being traded for is often of even greater import.
