All of society and Attovian history is surrounded, affected and permeated by Graskoroth’s presence and existence. It’s thanks to the True Monsters born of his hatred that Attovia remains in ignorance of the oceans horizon and treats both fresh and salt water as dangerous resources. His Demons: The Hebdomad, wrought terror and darkness across the continent for centuries until the Crystal Guard bound them within The Seven Great God Stones ensuring they could not overturn Hormus’ right to the land and greatly weakening Graskoroth’s power over the land. Now it is believed he sits deep under the tide somewhere in the southeastern ocean continuing to create corrupt spawn that might terrorize those who exist in direct opposition to his aims.
It can’t be said however, that no one worships or finds some compelling draw in the corrupt Kraken. Though his Cult is certainly a well known example there are many individual Wizards and Workers of all kinds who see in him a potential well of power untouched by benevolent guidance such as that found in Hormus and his Church.
