A Kasaaki’s membrane can be cured to act as a sturdy and long-lasting vessel for the storing of most liquids. It holds up against a large Ph scale, however alcohol will damage it quickly. Most commonly used to store water for long journeys they are highly sought after, yet difficult to find in a desired size thanks to the rarity of such large Kasaaki in the wild. Cultivated Kasaaki are popular for this reason alone, aside from the culinary uses that have also become rather desired.
