Of the seven pieces of Hormus only the whereabouts of the Eye, Head and Torso are widely considered to be certain. The remaining Leg, Foot, Arm and Hand are debated hotly among the religious scholars of the Church of Hormus and within secular circles. Thanks to some recently discovered writings of the Girav gel many scholars of the CoH agree that some part of Hormus resides in the Giravian Archipelago, perhaps responsible for its unique Reefs and surprising tranquility for its position within the otherwise deadly oceans. Thanks to this they often claim it must be the Hand since that is the symbol of protection, but others have made compelling arguments for the other three.
The strange behavior of the Twilight Desert often leads to similar speculation as to that of the Giravian Reefs but is more hotly debated. Many Bereaved claim the desolate and hostile nature of the Twilight Sand couldn’t possibly be the manifestation of their benevolent god.
A number of other wondrous places have been put up for speculation as the possible host to divine appendages: The Ambar Tree (to much disagreement from the Elves), the Western Wastes, Darkmount, and the Southern Wilds (especially the Twilight Estuaries) being the most put forth group. Differing amounts of manpower, Clips and research have gone into each all of which return inconclusive or unsatisfactory results.
