The 1st of every Tri-hundred-turns is when God-the-first is considered to shift from being “asleep” to prominence. Each of the Soul-bearers believes they were created by God-the-first and are thus most potent and blessed during the month of Steel. So each celebrates the new Tri-hundred-turn according to their traditions.

The-government-of-steel mandates celebratory worship be held in Steel-churches or at Mechanical Shrines during the first week of the month of Steel. Special Prayer-plates are distributed by Fingers-of-the-first-god to any who have not memorized the proper prose.

The rowdiest celebrations held this time of year are by these folk who throw parties and elaborate festivities in the streets of their cities and villages.

A recitation of communal Names and Knowings by each tribes Most-knowing-one is the most common tradition. Feasts are regularly held, though the community generally eats in this way, so they are not nearly as of note as among the Wings-of-blinding-glint
Folk-of-brilliant-mind
Regular monthly tests concluded long ago that there is no correlating increase or decrease in the cognitive ability of the general populace underneath the Fair-and-just-rule-of-minds. For this reason the changing of months and the “asleep” or prominent nature of the gods has been ruled as unimportant and not a “legitimate reason to reduce productivity.”
