Thunder and Lightning
Thank to the ancient Amodian practice of Taivääntää many weather effects imply significant meaning to much of the Attovian populace. Thunder and Lightning are no exception, having some debated but largely consistent beliefs that circle the two interconnected phenomena. The lightning in its white hot brilliance betrays a seemingly good and happy thing with the follow-up cacophonous rumbling of thunder. Colloquially many refer to lightning and its thunder as the Demon’s smile. Even those who worship Ukko see thunder as the result of his anger at the lightning’s feeble attempt to light the dark world that he currently hides his face from.
The Power of Worship and Prayer
Most who call Attovia home believe in the supernatural blessings one might receive from worship and fervent prayer. It is believed that the gods are capable of hearing each person in turn without confusion, and that they dole out some small gift and element of their power in accordance to their character. Even the simplest of coincidences is often interpreted as a sign or result of prayer and worship whether ill or good.

The Power of Worship and Prayer
The Olam Beyn are NOT omniscient, they are capable of observing much in a short amount of time thanks to the time compression brought about by the Meyda they exist within, but in an odd way, the larger a religious group becomes, the fewer of its members are heard by their patron. There are some cases where other benevolent Olam Beyn have deigned prayers worthy of their help even if they were not the targeted entity.
