The final draft of the CNLoT that currently stands was drawn up in 1247 ToR after extensive talks between Zoher, the Zyclester Empire, the Kingdom of Helva and the Ornsiire Empire. The multilateral trade agreement took almost ten years to be finalized thanks to the difficulty of balancing the stipulations brought by each of the four nations but its finalization immediately began to drastically alter the economic and diplomatic landscape for the continent. CNLoT effectively reduced the amount these four countries could trade with other nations and brought about powerful trade monopolies such as Helva’s complete ownership of Hajik exports to not just CNLoT nations but practically the entire continent. The budding Spider Silk industry in the more remote Claskaria was all but wiped out and even Beleg gúl felt hefty shocks in their lumber industry as Zyclest worked in key bans on lumber imports, instead boosting their own exports of lumber shipped in from third parties in the Grask Forest. Much to the chagrin of the NRSG their number of ore and metal suppliers dropped heavily as Ornsiire cornered exports for Iron, Silver, Coal and Copper. Zoher was largely brought in as a kind of threat of enforcement, they would receive beneficial trade from the other three nations in exchange for the agreement that they would function as the CNLoT’s policing body.

Originally this agreement was planned to last for twenty years from its signage but current events have put its lifetime into question. New talks have yet to be called thanks to each nation’s fear that such a meeting holds far too much potential for back stabbing which appears to have already occurred. It appears inevitable at this point that the League will fall to pieces only a few years into its existence the repercussions of which will be felt continent wide.
