In the middle portion of the Zyclester Empire joining the Suru River after bubbling up from ground water that gathers in the foothills of the Ando Mountains the Nopea River steadily carving a series of deep canyons into the soft earth in this region of the continent. Known especially for long stretches of dangerous rapids that pass a hundred feet below the tops of cliffs that the same waters must have once calmly crept by. Though attempting to swim in the river is wisely advised against by the local elders of populations that surround the river it claims lives every year thanks to the dares of exuberant youths.
