Many small hillocks and mountains are believed to be the long deceased bodies of the great Imalech that once walked the continent from the Age of Conflict until the Times of Sorrow. Though much study has gone into discovering the possible biology of such immense creatures no fruit has borne from the delving of even the most well equipped. The millennia that have since passed cover over whatever vestiges might have once existed that would grant glimpses of the truth of such beings.

It is nevertheless well established fact that something once crawled the surface of the lands that could hold in its shadow entire cities. There are many depictions of such massive creatures existing in all but Rugadhian culture, enough that their dismissal is more preposterous than their baffling existence.

Cultural Interpretations

Semari

According to Semari legend these creatures were called Zintada and were the full and complete physical manifestation of a Fikcan, something many believe will someday happen again if the Fikcan’s will is followed fully and its potency increased through their joining in it.

Zoher

The Church of Hormus believes strongly that these creatures were Hormus attempt at creating Dragons, and that they could have easily defeated their Graskoroth birthed brethren if not for their slow movement and inability to procreate.

Girav gel

The Girav gel find solace in the demise of the Imalech. They believe these monoliths served their purpose and justly found a Day of Peace all their own.

Elves

The Cundo in Ambar believe their own royal line replaced the original purpose of the Imalech leading to those remaining at the inception of the ruling class to fall into deep slumbers and eventually die.
