A very new invention headed by Heimerdinger a now lost Fractalworker of the Zyclester Empire’s Military Research Division. It was devised by himself with the aid of his mentor Tabitha Brentwood. The theory goes as follows. If one could mimic the “connection” between a Soul, its Ogen and the way in which the body’s limbs are informed by it, then one could tether a mechanical arm to the Soul in question so that it behaved just as though it were the creatures original arm.
Limitations
Currently the high level process requires an individual’s Soul to recognize the False Soul embedded in the Prosthesis to allow it to function in a familiar way. If someone is born with a missing limb or extremity there is not currently a way to utilize the Tethered Prosthesis to aid them.
Only two individuals know the order of the Forms required to construct the proper False Soul that may interface as a missing part. Heimerdinger is missing and Tabitha appears to be preoccupied with finding him so progress on production has halted.
