Aysu's 2nd Saying
We cannot make an image of the Fikcan, but each image made of its Balacan is like adding a leaf to the canopy of its portrait. In payment for our mirror and its offerings small favors will it grant.
Balacan’s can be many things, a non-exhaustive list includes trees, stones, rivers, lakes, hills and mountains. They are considered the little souls present within each of these entities that in a larger sense are another face of the land’s Fikcan. Balacan are each considered worthy of their own depiction and it is believed they will do small favors and chores for the Semari tribe that carve them and present offerings.
