The largest, and most involved festival of the Church of Hormus Seitjaista begins on the winter solstice the 3rd of Enecthui (the 2nd on leap years), and lasts 7 days. Each day is dedicated to one of Hormus’ body parts and its relevant aspects, it begins sorrowful and somber each day growing more jubilant until the final day on which a great feast is had and all are free to proclaim joy and thankfulness for Hormus’ sacrifice.
Day of the Eye
Any and all who feel ill, sick or have any other untreated injury are invited to be healed by Sundered Priests of the Eye. Traditionally a donation of substantial amount is to be made in thanks, however during the Day of the Eye the only payment to be made is a tearful prayer.
Prayer to the Eye
On this day I remark on the envy you must have for one who can be repaired so easily.
I give as sacrifice for this resetting my sorrow and a heart aflame.
I beseech you, do not turn the health of your gaze away from me in distain.
For I have taken with no effort of my own that which you once needed most.
Those who do not require healing are also called upon to say the prayer as penance for their good fortune. The streets are often filled with many of the Bereaved who mourn for hours in public. In larger cities the sounds of the wailing and sobbing can raise to frightening levels. Many also begin a fast known as the Teräluut that will last until the Day of the Torso.

Children receive simple pamphlets with Flame Printed grayscale images depicting Hormus’ sundering and his burial. Libraries give out a selection of books for free to keep, and many adults will swap literature and buy each other gifts of books or journals if their wealth enables.
Sundered Priests of the Head can be found at major thoroughfares, courtyards, and temples spending their entire day recounting tales from The Book of Nefiqaddis.
