The Educator Program is a specialized course given only by the Zyclest University after the completion of which the individual is granted Educator status within the Zyclester Empire. It is considered one of the most prestigious courses someone can attempt at the University second in difficulty only to the Imperial Wizard Program, and arguably with better career options post course. Though an entirely new structure the Educator Program is based on the original Educator system implemented by the empire and thus retains an element of tradition especially during the yearly ceremony in which the new Educator’s are granted their newfound status.
End of Course Ceremony
The ceremony for officiating the transition to Educator is largely pomp and circumstance surrounding one specific action: Imprinting the individual’s Soul with the current Emperor’s Meyda Seal. Those graduating each mount a circular dais on which a large and complex Meyda-circle is deeply engraved. A small indentation marks the portion of the Circle where the Educator-to-be must stand and recite the following:
The Educator's Vow
I shall break the bonds of intellect to push Zyclest forward
Where the Emperor sends me I shall go with haste
Where I am, I am to be a fount of knowledge for the people of Zyclest
I stand now as one of them before I become one to serve them
Thus have I sworn as an Educator to bear its weight with pride, dignity and loyalty
After reciting the two century old vow, four Imperial Wizards place their hands in the designated Meyda-wells and Transfuse so as to power the Circle.
Though nothing will feel to have changed in the graduated, any Imperial Wizard can divine with a simple Working that they are an officially recognized Educator.
