Kochavist Wisewoman Katsuko to an unknown Dragonborn

A binding line, that only kind of which we gladly fetter to strikes into the clouds and off towards Yähti. I could not be more certain young one, you are undoubtedly Moon-touched. Now pray your Working is of Yami and not of her brother bound to darkness.

Occasionally a Dragonborn is presented with the gift of a Tether that binds them to some entity on Attovia’s moon Yähti. The origin of said Tether is usually unknown to the individual and could be either Yami or Hikari. Due to the obscure nature of Tethers there is no way by which to tell what entity your connection is to until you conduct Meyda-work. This has, in the past resulted in destructive and heinous disasters in which Hikari abuses Meyda Intercession to wreak all kinds of havoc and mischief. Thanks to several historically devastating events such as the Fukai Massacre a specialized Meyda-circle was devised that could derive the true form behind your Tether.

One takes a blade of grass and places it at the center of a complex Circle, then the Moon-touched Worker transfuses Meyda to power said circle at its Meyda-well. Once powered the blade of grass responds by either wilting and dying demarking your provider of power as Hikari, or multiplying rapidly via its roots in which case the Dragonborn is at ease for they have been granted a gift by Yami herself.

There are no recorded instances of a non-Dragonborn Moon-touched individual. Many well learned Wizards believe it is possible, but that it would require someone raised by two Dragonborn parents within the Kochavist faith. When it is considered that only one Moon-touched is seen on average per generation of Kochavist children the odds of this phenomenon gracing anyone but Dragonborn would be a statistical wonder.
