Introduction to the P. T. Memoirs
Here you shall find all that could be put to page in regard to the life of myself, Percival Thornfallow: Head Educator of the Zyclester Empire, Binder of the Seventh Tome, Conqueror of Great Workings and Dismantler of Ancient Untruths.
Percival Thornfallow, a dark Amodian man with a wispy beard and piercing blue eyes is widely regarded as the prodigy of his generation believed to have surpassed all other Wizards with a profound gift of intellect and a deft hand for Workings. Said reputation has gleaned him fortune in both fame and Chips for over a decade now and he has seen it as rightfully earned. Percival has written many critiques on the work of others in his field going so far as to display skepticism of the legitimacy of some of Mordechai’s own work, or at least that work attributed to him. He has thus made himself a bit of an elevated pariah to his colleagues who see him as too stuck up for his own good yet respect the work and contribution to their field which they cannot deny.
Achievements
To this day Percival’s crowning achievement is his contribution to the ancient project of The Crystal Tomes having organized, edited, bound and then published the Seventh Tome. For context the Sixth Tome had been bound before the Time of Rest over four centuries prior and many at the time believed it to be the last. What Percival has largely neglected to share during this great feat was the primary source for most of the 77 Workings found within the Seventh Tome. An old friend of his Terridor Throumehdown who attended the Zyclest University at the same time was arguably a mind with a brightness that eclipsed his own. Percival did contribute towards the organization of the 77 Workings but it was Terridor who analyzed and broke down well over half the Meyda-work the tome contained to the degree that it might be accepted as a legitimate Crystal Tome.
