Observed only above the Giravian Archipelago and the stretch of coast just to its south the Black Storm garners its name from the ominous shade of the clouds it summons. Dubbed Bahoza Res by the Girav gel this dangerous weather phenomenon is believed by their people to be an attack by Neyar for its rain brings famine and cannot be ingested for fear of severe illness, and worst of all, when its sickly blue lightning strikes their sands strange creatures rise from the site and sow carnage.
Thankfully for the Girav gel these storms are quite small, generally only large enough to threaten several islands at once leaving the majority of the Archipelago region untouched, but they come once or twice a year, and every Girav gel knows that if they are blessed by Serokê Aştiyê to live more than ten turns they shall certainly feel the corrupt rain of the Black Storm.
