The Tower of Knowledge was once referred to the “Tower of Zyclestian War-workers” during the times of the Zyclester Coalition when it was built as a place of congregation for War-workers who wanted to share knowledge and research funded by their higherups in the coalition. However once the Meyda War Ended it was quietly changed to the “Tower of Knowledge” so as to not disturb their newly made peace agreements with Zoher and the Kingdom of Helva. The only entrance is the tower’s massive wooden door which opens seldom and most often for large shipments in covered carts pulled by Hakher. The people of Tornilinn think little of the tower, its presence long preceding their own, and even use it to orient themselves in town.

Dimensions and Materials

The Tower of Knowledge is five hundred feet high and square in its construction being roughly one hundred and forty feet from each corner and tapering slightly till its top at around one hundred and ten. It was built from carted in granite blocks that were later sealed with a simple cement. A single large wooden door faces south, opposite the Nopea River.

The Goings on Within

Wizards and War-workers of the Zyclester Empire under the command of General Glados Yuleheart are often sent here to be taught in a specific Field they showed some specialization in during their time at Zyclest University or that their reputations otherwise displayed. It also serves as a massive restricted library holding many texts otherwise banned in the empire held here for those with the proper access. Occasionally a higherup Wizard of Zyclest is sent to teach others here, and while it is common for most to at some point be sent to the Tower of Knowledge for such purposes it is often an implicit punishment for some insubordination.
