Letter to an unknown recipient from an unknown sender
Dear M
Terribly garish things Flash Messages. Mail someone a scrap of cloth and it explodes in their hands, hurts their eyes, and leaves behind a terrible headache. If I receive another from you I will be sure to send something of similar properties to your doorstep with much more concussive effects.
The rest of the letter is cut off here where the paper appears burnt
A popular Working used by any who want to send a message that should be received only once. Depending on the creator and receiver their may be an unlock sequence of some kind, or the message may be intended for the first to find it. Either way once activated the paper burns itself furiously, enough to leave scorch marks on a holder’s hands, and a messaged inscribed within is sent directly to the recipient’s mind as a string of words. Once completed it is up to the recipient to remember its contents.
Unlock Sequences
Flash Messages that do not immediately burst upon contacting flesh with a Soul require a precise unlock sequence. The sequence is a glorified Meyda-mark that provides the missing targeting in the Flash Messages Working. Simply trace a previously agreed upon symbol on the paper and it will activate as normal.
