A small rodent that grows at most to a hand length. Typically covered in brown or black hair It has two tails, the one on its right matching the rest of its coat, the other a much lighter, almost white. It uses the brighter colored tail to distract predators, the tail is vestigial and when removed hurts little to the kaktää who will grow it back in the coming weeks so long as the necessary calories can be found.

Cultural Importance

The Kaktää has long represented the resilience and shrewdness of the Gnomes. It’s figure adorns each clan’s flag in differing pose and colors.
