In the northwestern plains of Claskaria a crystalline lake of emerald tint has become a popular dare location thanks to its proximity to the Western Wastes. Adolescent residents of nearby settlements and homesteads find immense stimulation in braving its waters and provoking their friends to doing the same. On rare occasion they return with stories of seeing strange Krest scooping water from the northern shore of the lake into large clay pots that they tote away into the woods surrounding the lake edge even the bravest dare not explore. The Claskarian’s who live nearby have come to call the beautiful lake Dorigami for its crystal green hue.
The Semari people however have a much older name for this body of water. According to Semari legend Aysu first perceives himself after his meeting with Ayan and remarks upon the beauty of his feathers granted him by his mother Ayana. In his admiration he decides to pass on the beauty granted him to a second generation and begins to ruminate on how he is to do this without a mate. It is believed that when he finally bathed in the lake he was confronted with the Fikcan of Gur Bulaqlar which offered him children in exchange for his wise obedience. After this encounter Aysu dubbed the Balacan of the lake Guzgu for the self reflection it provided and thus the lake received its name.
